On My Book Shelf (Part 3)

Since my last post I've read well over 40 books - in fact I can't really put a number to it. There are many that I'd love to share but I'll spilt them into groups of 5 for separate posts. I recently bought a few online and have been going through them like crazy on my commutes to work. This will likely be a common post for the blog; so if you love reading ...  good, I do too. Here are some from the past summer:

You can read the other "On My Book Shelf" posts here.

I'm Back

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

For some unidentified reason I've stopped journaling this year and now that I work a 9-5 job for co-op, I am in desperate need for a creative outlet. I'm currently in the process of apply for my international exchange less than a year from now. With a world of possibilities, I am ready to dream with the world, sharing my thoughts and adventures. Now twenty years old (as of February 11th), I foresee a whole new decade of adventures. To keep the cheesy theme going: feel free to tag along for the ride.

Travel Diary: Toronto Bound

Right now I'm on the train heading to Toronto and once again, I'm traveling on my own. Yes, I'm quite the independent traveler now! I decided to book this trip to visit family I haven't seen in a while. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do these next four days but I'm up for anything! I've looked online for things to do in Toronto, but of course that only brings me to tourist websites. I've been to Toronto many times, I'm not a tourist, I'm simply a visitor. Anyways I don't want my hosts to feel as though they need to keep me entertained, so I better come up with some ideas!

If you have any ideas of what I should do in Toronto, please leave a comment! Nothing too touristy please. :)

Young Hollywood Style: 15 & Under

I don't know if you have noticed, but the new generation of actresses are extremely fashionable. Back in my day, *cough*5 years ago, teen queens were wearing khakis and belly tops to premieres. These three young women are surprisingly all under the age of 15, yet each of them are classy and elegant on the red carpet. I can imagine even 30/40 year olds would consider these actresses as style icons. I would wear these outfits if I could. Click read more for a better look at some of their red carpet hits!

Photography

I wouldn't consider myself a photographer, but when you're in Europe it's hard not to take a beautiful picture! These pictures were taken Summer 2009 when I went to Paris, Versailles, and London. It was an amazing trip and I hope to go back to Europe soon! Today I decided to play around with the colouring of the pictures to enhance them and this is how they turned out! Let me know what you think by leaving a comment.

If you want to see more European inspired pictures (not all mine) check out my tumblr:

New York City - Week 3

Only one week left here in the 'Big Apple'. As much as I absolutely love it here, it's going to be nice to go back home. If only that trip back home was a week and then back to New York! Gosh, I love it here. In the collage below you can see images from my trips to SoHo, the Top of the Rock, Coney Island, and the Empire State Building. Credit for all of these goes to my friends on the trip (even the lovely city shots). Once again, if you would like to know about my week in New York, click the title of this post or click "read more" below the picture.
